Words of wisdom....

By Doc Ed Cole: (Communication, Sex and Money) - The three things in life that strengthen or break any relationships.

A man who truly loves God will remain faithful until he reaps a harvest.

I find this excerpt very relevant. Many go into a relationship not knowing what the outcome it is going to be.

- A young man needs to know how to be a friend to a girl in order to know how to be a husband to a woman. Exotic and erotic moments don't last a lifetime, friendship does. You can't build a life on memories. In the absence of true friendship, between the times of romance, the void can be filled by enmity, or by someone else. Bitterness, hatefulness, sarcasm, caustic criticism, or horrible silence may occupy the void created by the absence of friendly conversation, touching, sharing, and togetherness.

This excerpt was stated because a couple in their 50s, Bill and Jan, have been married for 30 years and have trouble finding intimacy in their marriage. They went to Dr Cole for counselling and found that both do not know whether they loved each other or not. However, their marriage lasted even though each didn't know whether they loved each other or not, why?

"All I know," said Bill, "is that through it all, she is still my best friend." Friendship was the key to hold them together. It's not perfect, yes. However, romance alone never hold a marriage, but friendship can. It is definitely God's intention to have both (Romance and friendship) in any marriage. Hollywood celebrities have been constantly changing in marital relations, why? Many of them are the most romantic people in the world. But without friendship, no marriage can last. Not even amongst the best looking people with the best romance.

I got so much out of Dr Cole. More than just on Relationships, I learnt so much on finances from Dr Cole. This book is definitely worth reading. Read it and you'll gain in understanding! Ha ha.

Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.
~Romans 13:8

Bryan yee...

last day of lessons!

Today's the last day of lesson for my third semester.
Not that I'm missing much stuff.

8 days to my first paper and another 8 days of exams. Essentially 16 days to holidays!

Still, one more assignment to down before next week!
Haha. Rest assured, I'll do my best to complete this huge assignment of mine. I'm so gonna finish it soon.

Going out with guys and gals is very much different. As in group outings. The things that guys do - More outdoor. Give us each a computer, internet and WCIII, and you'll see each of us playing dota. (Except for the few girls I know who really know how to play dota like bev - she is of a pretty high standard and with luna, pretty much able to own people with ample support). Anyway. Yeah.

Ha ha. Going out with girls is mainly shopping (Which I really don't mind to be frank). That was just some of my thoughts and not discriminating any sex.

Hanging out with people is joy. I love knowing people. I probably won't be able to hang out with people enough in this lifetime of mine, but I will hang out with people as much as I can.~~

Was just checking out some premium guide yesterday learnt how to use some heroes that aren't usually used by our group of people - Morphling and Techies Goblin etc.. They are very "geng" hero, but then, under the hands of an incompetent person, these heroes will be very "ji". lol. Heaps of East Malaysian colloqualism. These people have influenced my speech heaps. Oh well, I'm also being influenced by the OZzies. Haha.

Drawing to a close.

Temperature check - 5 deg celsius as I'm typing this right now.

It's mad. In countries that are near the equator, wearing a jumper with bright hot sun is unfathomable, but over here, even with the scorching sun, a jumper is not even enough to withstand the cold winds here.

Loving my guitar. New songs, new flow!
Doing it alone baby.

3.04a.m. in the morning in a cold day.
lesson at 9a.m.
Well. that's all.
I'm going to the Holy of Holies now!

Honouring my friend

A friend in need is a friend indeed, but this friend of mine is never such a friend.
Ha ha. We've been through thick and thin together. Although I've not known him that long, but the friendship we share is huge. Well, time doesn't really mean anything. I can know someone for less than a year and know him/her much much more than those who know the same person for years! Time does help but friendship transcends time, it looks past the limitations that we've set upon ourselves. Friendship is magic. Friendship brings you further in life.

Tomorrow's his 20th birthday (Doubt he'll visit my blog, so let me talk abt him).
Ha ha. A good listening ear when you need one. A great help when you need one.
Of course, we know a lot about each other.

Basically, he's a friend that will help you to his fullest.
Just last week, he led worship in Kid's Church. You might think that being on the WT is easy, but it certainly isn't in Heart of God Church. But leading a WT on Sunday takes tremendous commitment and skills in HoGC. It has been an amazing journey for this amazing friend of mine!!

Let's wish his happy 20th birthday before he actually hit 20!

FX - Be prepared for heaps of love letter from the "yi xing" after my introduction of you! Ha ha. Yeah. He might be already having some I reckon!

A day of business law! I'm going to University tonight to stay!
I really have to study man!
So much to study, so little time!
Next Friday's Business Law finals!
Followed by Cultural on the 12th, Quants on the 14th and Fundies on the 16th!
"You drive me CRAZY!!!"

Last week has been a spectacular week for me.
Heaps of "First time" for me.
Well. Nevertheless, I love it.

Will miss you,
Bryan

Keeping it simple

The last template was getting crazy on my com, had to change it.
I love simple websites, straight to the point, and in your face!

Had to preach at kids' church this morning! There were only 6 kids and 3 kids were kinda punished, and I was left with 3! Preached on Psalm 92. My Second Sermon in life, well, was pretty alright I guess. Though some might not fully understand the way that I speak, but I am grateful to God that this opportunity was given to me!

Take it, it's yours. Someone once asked Pastor How is there any point in his life where he felt like giving up!? And Pst's reply was everyday (That was ages ago), but then he didn't, and kept on going.... And the result - A church of 1000, with a vision of 1400 by end of 08, and we're operating like a church of 3000!

It's not about how good we are for 2,3, 5 or even 10 years. We might perform well in a decade and fall away. But commitment to a dream takes a lifetime. It doesn't have an expiration date unlike many things in life. It expires the day when we REALLY give up. I guess the key to keep in touch with our dreams is that we look to our goals daily, surround ourselves with people that lift us up, and basically do whatever we can to keep in line with our dreams.

My dream - There are heaps. But I dream of impacting many many lives. And part of it is coming to realisation, with or without the pulpit. I don't have to preach on Sunday to impact people, I just have to do what I love to do most. That is one of the things in my life I don't mind doing for free! Seriously. Ha ha.

Week 12 day 1 tomorrow! Last 3 weeks in my 3rd semester! How am I feeling? Mixed I guess. So much that I want to do after that in Singapore, but so little time! Just had 2 different pumpkin soup, one from church and one at home and I'm certainly bloated! Lol. Did a little bit of groceries shopping today and got a lot of things that I needed - Ice Cream!!! lol. I have sudden craving for that!

Time just flies.
It flew by just now and it is flying everyday.
Every second you look at your watch is one second lost to conquer life.
Wah. So profound? lol.
Madness.
Attack our mondays people! Monday 28-7-08 is here to come!

Real man? Are you one!?

1) Loyalty
2) Commitment
3) Respect
4) Accountability
5) Family
6) Love
7) Faithfulness - Be faithful.
8) Hard Work - With Excellence.
The bible writes more about laziness than drunkenness.
9) Integrity. You can make a lot of mistakes in life. But be truthful. (Always speak the truth). Build an organisation that can last, build on truthfulness. Always speak the truth.
10) Generosity. Always be a giver, because God is a giver.

Come on... When I heard this from Pastor Tan, I just had to pause it and copy!

The strength of a man:

1) Isn't seen in the width of his shoulders, it is seen in the arms that circles you.

2) Isn't in the deep tone of his voice, it is in the gentle words he whispers.

3) Isn't how many buddies he has, but how good a buddy he is to his children.

4) Isn't in how respected he is at work, but how respected he is at home.

5) Isn't in how hard he hits, but it is in how tender he touches.

6) Isn't in the hair on his chest, it is in the heart that lies beneath his chest.

7) Isn't about how many women he has loved, but it is in how he can be true to one woman.

8) Isn't in the weights he can lift, but it is in the burdens that he can carry.

Wanna be a real man? Real man and Christ-likeness are synonymous.

Hope this has been good for ya!

The world's top 500 companies. Ha ha. Both Malaysia and Singapore have one company ranked top 500 in the world.

At number 95: Petronas of malaysia, with revenues of 66.2billion usd.
At number 292: Flextronics International of Singapore, with revenues of 27.56billion usd.

Be curious all the time.
The key to success starts from curiosity.

Revelation

Hi peeps.I just came across this passage and I thought it would help people lead a fruitful and awesome life.

Life is short. You might not be bible believing or even a Christian. But I believed the extract below is relevant.

Psalm 90:1-17

Time is short, use it well, STEWARDSHIP of time.

Ps90 centers on the brevity of life and the stewardship of time. In meditating upon human frailty, Moses compares life to grass that withers. God Himself, on the other hand, is “from everlasting to everlasting” (v.2). Because of man’s sin (vv7-9), God has shortened his time at least twice. The early days of man averaged hundreds of years, Seth, for eg, lived 912 years (Gen 5:8); Cainan, 910 years (v14), and Methuselah, 969 years (v.27). After the Flood, however, God shortened man’s time to 120 years (6:3). When we reach the time represented in Ps. 90, man’s years have been cut to 70-80 years. The final word recorded in James 4:13-16 is that man’s life is a vapour, with no guarantee as to the number of his years. Therefore, it is critical that people allow God to teach them to manage well the brief time they have on Earth (Ps. 90:12).

All in all, life is short. Make every second counts.
Live a life more than the cars, money and the TVs. And all these are good. It's vital to be culturally relevant. But. Let every second of your life count.

Well. This passage has inspired me greatly. To live a life that matters. You can make a difference too.

Heh.

ignited moment..

20th July 08 - Another ignited moment of my life.

This is probably one of the ignited moments of my life. My first time preaching at kids' church. Ha ha. Well, it was not that easy, especially facing a group of people where some have difficulty understanding my English. It went well though. I believed that God was with me when I preached.

It was a very simple message - A poor widow with two mites in Mark 12:41-44.
I guess it did touched the lives of the kids that I related to (Well, not really preaching to them or else they would be sleeping).

Well, at the end of the day, God isn't interested in the amount that we give, but the amount that we have left in our wallets/banks/reserves all in all. A mite = 1/8 of a cent. 2 mites = 1/4 of a cent and is 1/64 of a denarius, which is about a day's wages of a labourer. Hear what it says... A day's wages of a labourer.. Not a day's wages of Bill Gates or Warren Buffet.

Yeah. But still, Jesus said that this poor widow gave more than what the others give, that is because the others gave out of their abundance, but the widow gave out of what she had. Man. Singapore has heard this over and over again. But this message needs to cross through continents from a channel! Yeap. Love it.

Church today was awesome. Looking forward to kids' church next week for sure.

Ha ha.Well, when I feel like going home, I guess I will go. lol.

Be nice

Changed the songs that are in my minipod player.

Some of the songs are the latest MTV hits... And some of them are my current favourite hits. Yeah. Just came back from the Kingdom. Was doing crew leading as usual. My muscles are being more real after carrying 7-10 chairs at a go. Man. This is huge. Lol. Ok. am being mad.

Ha ha. The lyrics of only hope kept on lingering in my mind. Man, I'm going to make that song a priority to master in my guitar. ha ha. Not just the simple chords, but also the feel of the song! Yeah. Gonna master the touch of that song. The emotions that is in that song.

Actually the original producer of the song is switchfoot! Ha ha. It's nice still even though this song sounds better if a female sings it!

Okok.
Nothing ventured nothing gained!

Self Control

Discipline sticks to the plan once we're under way, no matter what problems, obstacles or feelings we face. Discipline lives by principles rather than by emotions. Discipline does what is right even when we don't want to do it. Discipline does what is right even when we don't want to do it. Discipline keeps going even when we are discouraged, or have lost faith, or are facing seemingly impossible odds. Discipline is the making of character; indiscipline the unmaking of character. Discipline creates a habit, a way of life, a lifestyle.

Last Chapter of Leadership Excellence (Self-Control)!
By Pst Phil Pringle.

This whole extract made me thought about the subject- self control and discipline for quite a while. i hope it does for you too.

Fantastic...

I just watched the Dark Knight...
Man. It's a must watch movie..
lol. It's already out in OZ, catch it soon mates!
Heath Ledger is a legend in that movie.
He did so well with the joker!
Ha ha. He has matured so much in his acting since the earliest movie I watched him - The Patroit (2000).

I also caught A walk to remember last week and man. It's one of the movies that move grown man to tears. Yes I think I've talked about this before! But the song that Mandy Moore sang in that movie is sooooo good. haha. Here you go (Youtube)
Listen to it and tell me how is it man!
Lol.
Absolutely love this song to the max.

It's been a good day filled with great things!
Well... My friend's just injured his ankle, but it's nothing major and he's recovering well!
That's awesome to hear!
Ha ha. It's pretty late now.

Who am I?

It's so common to see Caucasians in Australia (Like duh.)
Ha ha. I'm saying this just to state the obvious or what.

Sometimes, I speak so much English that I almost forgot that I'm not a Caucasian.
I love my Chinese roots to tell you the truth.
We are pretty reserved naturally due to the culture we're in.
Well, it certainly has its pros too.

I'm so wanting to go home.
The homesickness is kicking in every now and then, especially lately.
Beneath that 6'0 frame, it's a heart that misses home.

Can't wait to board that plane and go home.... to have a good rest. Ha ha.
Not that it's not good here, everything's perfect.
I now know what the young footballers that have been sold to another country to play football would have felt.
In the past, when I was playing Championship Manager... Yes a game that has kind of died off. But whenever I buy a young foreign player, after a few months, their status will change from happy to stay at the club to homesickness. I never knew what it feels like to be homesick, so ha ha, I was like.. Hey come on, play your football.. I never really cared about that and took notice of that till recently.

Can I spend one day without sleeping and then fly off to a faraway land?
After hearing so much about Europe... I really want to go there. Although I can't do all the water sports... Due to me being able to swim only with fins. Ha ha. Well, I know how to theoretically. Just been re-hearing all the sermons over and over again. Some have been heard so much that I can preach one out of it. ha ha. Yeash. and I'm not exaggerating.

I don't know how philosophers go through life. Really. Having a good mind is good.. And I'm for that. But sometimes, it's just so tiring to just wanna be so philosophical about stuff. Although I think it's pretty fun to learn about the lives of philosophers..

Lastly. really can't wait for August to arrive... Man! Loving things the way they are. Heng has already done his first final.. Which was on Monday (14 July). Part of a Rush of blood to the head's lyrics..

He said oh I'm gonna buy a gun and start a war
If you can tell me something worth fighting for
Oh and I'm gonna buy this place, that's what I said
Blame it upon a rush of blood to the head

Many people just want a reason to lead this life.
A reason to live.. A reason to die..
I've found this in Jesus, for sure.
To live. To really live means what?
Well. To be remembered when you die? - This will come, when one has led their life well.
I just re-watched parts of Coach Carter and Ken Carter is one who has lived, it's not just some fiction. He strongly believed that High School Students should do well.... Watched that movie and get inspired. If one lacked faith. Watched that movie. Or even remember the Titans. You'll come out a different man/woman.

This post is getting long.

Monday Morning....

I guess I will miss University life when I've graduated.

I'm trying to savour every moment I can while I'm here.
Weekly church service has been awesome.
I was just helping out at kids' church yesterday and everything went really good.

We played hockey with the kids and I joined one of the teams as there were not enough kids.
I didn't show much mercy, of course. Ha ha. They are small and agile, so I'm not walking all over them. It was heaps fun and of course, they were taken into the presence of God since it's Sunday's school. I've never been to Sunday School before and now, I'm taken to Sunday School. It is so fun..... 2 hours passed by so quickly just spending time with them. It was heaps fun.

That's all...
Doing HW now.

Pastor Tan...

I just listened to Pst Tan's sermon last night and I got heaps out of that.
One particular thing he said was that we should own someone.... Pray for a family, own a family. That's so good.

Sometimes, after being Christians for a long time, we tend to stick around the group of friends we have in church far too much. It's good to have fellowship.. For sure. And I certainly agree to that.
But where is the harvest field? Certainly not in church. It's out there in the world. Out there where many are aloof. They don't need a preacher. They just need someone to stand by them, to be there for them when they need someone. If there's a cause worth fighting and dying for, it is this...

Inspiration surges when I watch movies that tickles my inspiration button. I just watched Legend of the Fall (1994) starring a young Brad Pitt, Sir Anthony Hopkins and many others. It's a movie that's inspiring. It is also a movie that shows how people growing under one roof turn out to be so different from one another when they've grown up. It is a definite must watch movie for us.. It'd be a classic I reckon. More than that, it is a very real movie.

Right now, I'm so hungry!
The Domino's man is taking ages to cook the pizza!!!
A hungry man is an angry man. And I'm pretty angry!.
lol. Like real.
Man. What a crap idiom that is.
What if the vice versa is true for the ladies.
A hungry lady is a happy lady.

Ok. man....
That's all..

Lastly.. A quote from Coach Carter.. Originated from Marianne Williamson

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Work...

I've got a philosophy paper due next week...

Man.. Is there such a thing such as just war?
Lol. Yeah. That's the topic I'm going to write about...
Gonna spent my night just-warring... lol.

I just watched a walk to remember today... (Was supposed to watch it with Secondary School friends 6 years ago when the movie came out in the theatres.. Heh. Guess I was too pre-occupied then). It was nonetheless a great movie. And I have to admit that apart from movies on war and action movies, romance stands next in line. It might be irrational to think that a person like me would like such a movie. Even I thought so too. lol.

Well, it has a sad ending which was too sad to discuss. But but but. Everything in the movie was nice. and mind you, Mandy Moore was just 17 or 18 when she shot this movie.

End of post....
Btw it's Wendy Lee's birthday today.
Ha ha. gave her a call last night... She has a minor cough. and friends do wish her well if u can.

Gruelling semester.... pls end it fast.

Sanity....

Man.
U drive me crazy. (U=Uni).

I was just playing the acoustic guitar yesterday after stopping for quite a while.
Not much excuses. Because whenever I touch the guitar, I just can't let her go.
lol. It's that addictive.

Self recording once again. learning guitar is like learning how to cycle. you kind of can't forget how to do it even after a hiatus. I've been cycling almost everyday and it's almost impossible to "forget" how to cycle even 10 years down the road.

"Arsenal is a selling club". Yes Mr Wenger. I totally agree with you. Ha ha. Too bad Man Utd is stronger in every department relative to Arsenal and we don't need any player from you. Maybe Fabregas and Adebayor can sit on our bench. lol. That's a good place for them. Solskjaer once said that he'd rather sit on the bench of a winning team than to start every game for a losing team. That is such a great team player. I mean he could have been on the first team in most other European teams bar the top teams in England, Spain and Italy. Mind you, he was also starting for Man Utd in a couple of seasons.

Sometimes, we can also learn from people in different career. How they look at things. How they react or rather pre-empt things.

Anyway. that's all for today.
Lastly, I miss those times........

It's not that complicated actually....

Ha ha. It's great to hear the concerns of people about your relationship status....

Josh or rather, Pastor Josh was asking me about the FB relationship status...being complicated. Lol. Actually I'm not sure what does it mean to be "complicated" in a relationship myself. Hah. That's weird.

I wonder where all my inspiration of my post came from. Somewhere in the air at times? The things going around my surroundings. Observation. I think I observe too much into things. Ha ha. I'm very clear about what's happening around me at times and people can be fooled by the way I look (Looking lost). That's pretty deceptive I reckon.

Tomomi (from church and bond uni) and her group of friends approached me to do a survey on my physique and how I am as a person. Woo. First Question.. Do you have muscles. They wanted me to show it. lol. Being the shy person I am, I never dared to (I am actually). lol.... Yeah. So they put a cross there and there are heaps of questions I make the cut.. And the second last question was whether I had good fashion sense.. Ha ha. What do you expect me to wear to Uni? Tuxedo or Armani Suit..? Ha ha. I wore as casual as a uni student could on a moderately cold winter. Slippers, board shorts and a jacket. Lol. I didn't make the cut for that. But still, getting 7 or 8/10 was pretty good. (Another mysterious qns asked was - whether the way I walk met their requirement).... lol. That is so funny.

2 of my friends are heading to Kingston for an exchange there. Wish them all the best. Btw, Kingston's not the daddy of Princeton. It's not as established as the latter. Ha ha. But Kingston is still a pretty decent Uni.

Church was good today. Pastor Don talked about a scripture in Mark 2 about the paralytic and his four friends. The friends we choose as I've mention a few posts earlier determines how far we go in life. So, choose your friends wisely. How far we go in life is dependent on the types of friends we have. But that also means that being a great friend to others, we have to be unsatisfied... Go the extra mile for our friends. Like in this case, the four friends of this paralytic wasn't satisfied about him staying paralysed. Instead, they went the extra mile and broke through the roof and got Jesus to heal him (The place was packed with people and seemingly impossible to get through by the normal route). Have friends or be a friend to others that will not be limited by the natural circumstances. Our attitude in life is infectious. So, infect in a good way.

I was just thinking about how much Pastor How and Lia cared for us.... One incident back in FTMS.. A year or 2 ago. Pastor Lia called all those who has just finished their A'levels to the office and had a chat with us. It seemed as if it was weeks ago and the scene was still vivid in my mind. She took the time to speak to us about our future... I thank God for such great Pastors in my life that more than just care, but willing to go the extra mile (even though Pastor Lia in this case could have spent that 10mins to rest with her packed schedule) to speak to us and offer us options. It's purely done out of love.... More than the technicality, love will make us do things that are irrational. It's more than just those sentimental songs... More than those words that cost absolutely nothing to say... Love acts.. Love doesn't boast. But of course, endearments need to be said (between the right person that is).... Hugs are to be given.....

So I have chosen my path. That is to come over to the land South-East of Singapore. I enjoy the weather here, the cultures and the people here. Well... The end of August next month will mark my first anniversary here. I have gotten infused into the culture here more or less and people are saying that I am one Aussie. Whahaha. But whatever it is.. Singapore remains in my heart as the main priority..

Ok. This post was done out of more than inspiration.. But on people that have made an absolute impact in my life....

Wisdom....

"A wise man learns from the mistakes of others. Nobody lives long enough to make them all himself".

Yesterday at the Kingdom, Josh spoke about the parable of the talents.. Many people might have heard it heaps of times (including me). But the Word of God is fresh each time when we read it and each time when we review it.

Matthew 25:15-18 - And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. The man who had received the five talents went at once and put his money to work and gained five more. So also, the one with the two talents gained two more. But the man who had received the one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master's money.

People reading this parable might have thought something like - God must be showing favouritism. He gives different people different amount of talents.... We sometimes even compare ourselves amongst our friends... That guy scores As for fun... That girl wins medals in school for fun... We've had friends like that.. or at least know someone or is someone like that... However.. the verse goes on to say that the 5 produced 5 more and he got 10 and the one given 2 doubled and got 4 but the one who had one hid his talent has his very own taken away and given to the one with 10 (now).
I believe that if the guy with 5 talents and 2 talents didn't produce anything with what they were entrusted with, it would be taken away from them.. Haven't we seen many talented people started well and ended their life average... And we also see some of the most average people end their life extremely well..

Well.. This shows that skills can be multiplied. If God would have given the guy with two talents 5, he might not have produced the result that the 5 would have produced, because he doesn't have the capacity now. God loves us all the same and have no favouritism. But each of us is different... It would be absurd to compare a butcher with a pilot. One tells another I can cut the meat better than you and the latter tells the former that he can fly better than him. Look at what we are given. Each of us have innate talents. Our value in God is intrinsic. Look at our strengths, at what we can do and multiply that. You are definitely good at something.....

I've learnt heaps from Josh.. Ha ha. Hope that you have too.

Moving forward....

I just had the kingdom a while ago....

I just have to say.. The small things count.
Remember the small things and that is the first step to conquering the big things.
Doing the small things badly - the big things that we're going to do next will be nothing short of disastrous.

Sometimes, you just don't feel like doing anything.
There are days like that;
We just have to go against the flow and let our character shine through.....
Today is one of such days for me.
Of course, I could have done anything and everything better... But I know I have given my best in organising today's service. And I'm pleased with having crews that are more than supportive... They take ownership of the things (That is the ultimate.)

Man. Waiting for my Haigh's chocolate patiently!

Intensive day

I slept over at Heng's place last night as we were playing intensive basketball.
Started our game at 2.30p.m. and ended around half past 7. Ha ha. It was intensed. At the last game, my legs almost gave way after a couple of quick drives to the basket.
It was one of the best basketball I've played yesterday since my injury in February.
Not many block shots yesterday, but heaps of steals and nice moves to the basket.

I haven't been tops lately, but I guess I can prevail! With God, all things are possible. Re-focusing and re-shuffling are all that I need currently. Time basically flies. It's already week 9 next Monday (out of 14 weeks with week 13 being study week and 14 being exam week). It basically means that I have 4 more weeks of studying left for my third semester. 9, 10, 11 and 12!

Live a life of significance! The sermon by Pst Lia on significance really touched me - No one is going to remember what results you get in your life. Live a life that is worth remembering. That is to live a life for others! That is the only life that will make you worth remembering. Love others as yourself.

Called Elizabeth last night (slightly pass 12) to wish her a great birthday. I am glad that she's doing pretty good in her prep relative to last year. Had a great chat before she had to give way to sleep! LOL. Well Well..

That's abt all. Stress of life is starting to creep up now. But I'll prevail!

Finally!! All lessons attended...

Woke up at 7.30a.m. This morning (Slightly late still). ha ha. But nevertheless, was only 10mins late for my first lecture and today went well.

A very well planned and executed day indeed. Lessons from 8-12. Then I had lunch with my Ex.. Accounting Group. The two girls in my Accounting Group worked at a Thai restaurant near Bond Uni. One of them drove us there and we had a sumptuous meal. Yeah. Met a few new friends from China too. Ha ha. You can call me Sociable ba. lol.

Anyway.... After that, she drove us back to Uni and I had my Quants tute!
Played ball after that. Was so intensed today.
Made one of the most unbelievable hang time shot today. lol
It was like 2.5secs in the air. I felt the sudden stop in time... Just like Faceless Void.. Whahahaha. Lol. I think I'm crazy. But then it was really very long.

Went home after paying a visit to Heng (Who just lodged above the Basketball court). Well he'll be having an exam tomorrow and I didn't disturb him further. After leaving my shoes there (To play bball tomorrow!), I went straight home. Had a cool ride on the bike home, as usual. It was already very dark at 6p.m., but I enjoyed the breeze and the chat with God.....

Ha ha. Even Xiaxue's blog (for a comment on Dawn Yang) has Cozycot.com
visit her blog and find out the link (Too lazy to find that). Lol.
And sign up as a member along the way!
Ha ha. a million dollar advertisement I have made!
The CEO would be pretty happy eh!

More basketball tomorrow.
But in the meantime. I'm going to listen to some sermons from back home!
Listening to Pst Lia's sermon now on Significance!
