Timeoutt

Yeah. Had accounting paper till 8.15p.m. last night.
It was long and grueling.
I only reached home at 20 to 9 last night.

It's been a long time since I came home from University this late. Ha ha.
Yeah.
Talk more about exams later....
Ha ha. Econometrics is up next. and I'm not really looking forward to it, although it's an open book exam. I wonder if I can just 'forget' to go for exams? Lol. It's a term used by one of my friends. yeah. kinda fun eh. Ha ha. But just to tell you that studying is good! Ha ha. Ok. I'm going to study in 8mins, when the clock hits 7.30a.m.

long Sleep

I had a super duper long sleep after I returned home today.

Today marks the beginning of my mid term and I had my first paper at 10a.m. this morning (Yawn). Ha ha. I reckon I will do pretty ok for Economics today. One subject off my mind.. 2 more to go. Accounting and Econometrics on Wednesday and Thursday respectively. Yeah. Gonna do well for both.

I wasn't feeling particularly good this morning after I woke up. I was just listening to Pastor's sermon on love Subjectively while on my bike. Still. I wasn't really in top mood. So I just prayed to God to let today be an awesome day. After my Economics paper, I felt much much better. Yeah. Just been an awesome day from that point on.

Even though mentally I was feeling tops, physically, I'm not. I went home, bathed, and felt like the weight of the world was on my head. It was so heavy. Ha ha. Went to sleep immediately. I woke up and the sky was already pitched dark. Went to look at my alarm clock. It reads 9.00p.m. Wow. This is one of the rare times that I actually had such a long nap. I reckon it's my longest nap for a long time. Yes. I had good dreams too. About the future of Heart of God Church. I just remember seeing Xinyi and Keegan. My Yuhua mates in the dream. There were a lot of people, but I couldn't remember much, just them.

Ignite

The wireless at home is finally up and it's 1/1/2 times faster than the previous connection at 1500kb/s.
Yes. Ha ha. I'm blogging this from home, finally.

Ignite on Friday was just awesome. The presence of God was evidently there.
Awesome God.
It was soo nice. Pastor Don gave us a great word and it was the first time I've seen Pastor Don preach at Ignite. It was awesome I would say.
Talking about the the poor lady in Samuel, with the jug of oil. It is the umpteenth time I've listened to it, but my revelation I had seemed as if it was my first time listening to it. Love it.

I kind of did all my laundry and washing yesterday. All done! Ha ha. The whole house was infested with lotsa ants. We feed them with windex (The solution that we normally use to clean glass surface). They were all dead my night. ha ha. Cool man!

Church tomorrow morning. Gonna have a great day!!!! Miss you guys..

Long week

It has just been a long week. 1 project numerous assignments to be done. Yeah. I haven't really taken a breath until right now. Was just rushing Econometrics homework this morning. I hope that I will do well for that as the homework weighs 25% of the total marks (that's heavy), so participation in class doesn't really count. It's about all the marks we have for our work. Yeah. Every mark is so precious over there.

But well, if I have given my best and have no regrets, that's it. Ha ha. Next week's exam week. I reckon I never had a more busy week in Uni like this week. It was just pure hectic. I'm going to look through econometrics later I reckon?

The sermon for love surprisingly is out and I'm at university now downloading it. I'm waiting for it to be downloaded.. Ha ha. I think I'm just going to love all the sermons in the 'love' series that Pastor has preached. Love Subjectively was a good one and I have listened to it twice till date.

I'm also pretty hungry now. Probably gonna get some food after I finish downloading the sermon. ha ha. It's going to be a good day today.

that's abt all..

Bacckk.

Ha ha. Had a kinda short lesson today.
Did well for my quiz.. Had project meetings, finished accounting project (finally), though it's not like my 110%, but I did put in a lot of effort. Ha ha.
Hopefully I will get the desired grades I set out to achieve?

Skyped with Evie before I went to do my Accnting project.
Miss home. Think a few of the lads are in the background, Pam, Char and Cheryl Chan.. If I'm not wrong. I miss those voices and homee. yes. It has been a hectic week but I love the stress being placed upon me.. I look it as a challenge though.

I'm over at Heng's place now. Just finished 1 on 1 dota with him. ha ha. It's kinda funny. We challenged who can kill the enemy faster. I lost.. Ha ha. He's a veteran for 3 years while I am a newbie at one week old. We went to Pac Fair today as he shopped for his TV, deck of cards, some sweets while I accompany him around. Had my lunch there with him too.

Listened to some songs while dota-ing. ha ha. nice songs that I never had a chance to tune in to before by various artists. Ok. It's getting late. I'm gonna run home now or else the sky will get too dark.

Time

It's the resource that most of us want more of each day....

Yes. Yesterday, today and I anticipate tomorrow are going to be days that are just going to be power packed. Packed with a lot of work, project and other stuff.

But I just want to spend some time right now and blogged, and listening to some songs like Find me at the cross... It's so refreshing listening to these old worship songs, esp. by Chris O'Brien.

I am going to embark on my reading soon. Haven't been able to breath much due to the immense amount of work lately. As mid terms are drawing nearer, I anticipate that it will just be in a blink of an eye that the final exams will approach.

Looking forward to the lessons later as Strat and Economics are the subjects I am dominating this year. Ha ha. Yeah...

Connectionnn..

I just had my first lecture of the week. Principles of economics.

It kinda ended early, half and hour early to be exact.
I was kind of dozing off. Fortunately, I was awoke when the lecturer taught something that matter and I didn't know. ha ha. It was a good day. John Nash's theory...

Plugging in to my Itunes and checking emails now at the library.
I tell you, it's been ages since I have like lists of emails. Every email I receive is precious to me. Though sometimes some are kinda junkie and I will report them as spams.

I'm attempting my Accounting questions once I'm off this site.
Communicating with great men of God like Psts and Garrett through the mail have been awesome.

It kind of raise my thoughts into a whole new level. The praises and encouragement from them just inject a whole new level of faith into me, in particular. Probably there is that spiritual inputs. I mean I love encouragement, and especially those with spiritual input.

I'm really looking forward to Pastor's visit in May. Hopefully sis and bro will come along too. It'll be cold during that time and I relish wearing all my jackets, blazer etc etc. I have brought a lot of long sleeve but I haven't had the chance to wear them since.. Ha ha.

Ok. my time is up. Just gotta wait for the next post, babe. I talked to Yvonne, Gina, Keegan and Jacko last night. It was nice talking to all these people who have been in church since forever.... Yeah.

Bryan Yeeee

Loving you peeps

Today's Sunday, assuming, since it's passed 12a.m. EST.

I kinda miss people in HoGC. So I called FX, knowing that there will be others I can talk to too. Yeah. I did talk to a few people apart from FX. Just as I was about to tell him more about myself, credit is low. Ha ha. Talk to you more soon dude.

Aussie's prepaid phone is really good. You buy A$29 bucks of credit and it gives you A$130 worth of credit and A$49 for A$310. Albeit for one month, but if I can call home as and when, why not choose the latter. Talking to FX kind of plug me back to home.. and I miss home. Miss the people there, first and foremost. I thank God for technology. If not for technology. I would be flying letters back with pigeon. ha ha. "Fei ge chuan shu". My han yu pin yin is still pretty good.. Lol. I was the top in my cohort in that in Sec 2 though.. Ha ha. But it wasn't really legitimate as everyone had the right answer and I kinda have more of the right answer.

Not talking straight, but you know what I mean.
Services were good though. Ben preached in the morning while Pst Don preached at night.

Ok this is going to be a great week.
Week 6!
8 more weeks to end of semesters.
Looking forward to that though.

Post Valentine's day

Being quite bored here, I've learnt a game that I never learnt in Singapore, dota.
Ha ha. It's kind of fun though. Yeah.

I spent Wednesday with Felix to Pac Fair. Did our rounds of shopping.
He had to get some computer hardware, shoes and groceries.. While I went to get a pair of Jeans. I need a new pair considering my last pair of blue Jeans was bought in 06. I can't even remember actually.

Spent yesterday(Valentine's day) in Uni and home. The older boys from church came and chilled out with Michael Rankin. They are all at a date-able age and listening to them gives me a picture of how things will be like in future for us. Ha ha. One of them said this about what another girl told him.. "Hey XX, you are a good friend and I don't think we should progress beyond our friendship". Life's cruel... Yeah. Good man like them should have been taken up ages ago.

Talking to Mr Wai now. Ha ha.

Loving Subjectively

Wow... That was what I needed.

Emotions and Intellectual are as important in our lives.
To the world, emotions seem lesser than intellect, but intellect without emotion doesn't mean we are more superior.

The sermon Pst preached was really for me.. I guess when Pst told me to listen to this sermon about a month ago was right. It spoke right into my heart.

Stand by your spouses, family, friends.. Right and Wrong doesn't really matter. Sometimes, it's just about being right there when they need you.

Stand by..

I'm in the altar call part of the sermon......

Word and dreams

Proverbs 4:23

"Guard your heart above all else,
for it determines the course of your life."

So true. That's the verse for me. For a long time I reckon.
A simple verse, a simple message, yet, our hearts can be so easily given to the cares of this world all the time.

Had a good chat with my awesome buddy FX last night over the phone. Talked the lot. Share our woes. I miss you, Mr Feng...
I miss Heart of God Church above all else.

3 dreams for the year. And I'm going to put one of them here.
To increase in Faith, boldness and confidence.

Faith comes by hearing, hearing the word of God. Yeah. I reckon I need much more faith than I ever do now. Things are coming thick and fast, in series. Like very very well planned. People would say "bad luck ar", but I choose not to look at the negativity.. Instead, it's time for me to build on my faith, my faith in Him that He'll provide. Jehovah Jireh, the Lord will provide.

People....

I don't have.

A group of Malaysian friends and I went to Hogs Breath Cafe at Surfers to have a great meal at Hogs Breath Cafe.

It truly is a great restaurant. The Ribs there were "ribbing"! That's for sure. I slept at 3a.m. last night, but I couldn't really sleep beyond 9a.m. and hence, I am now here blogging.

I seriously need to revise and study Accounting later. Ha ha. Been having backlog for my revision. I seriously need to sit down and do a good study plan. Arhh..

Listening to worship song now.

Ha ha. That's a funny picture.

Ha ha. Just wanna laugh looking at this.....

CNY?

While everyone celebrated their Chinese New Year.

I had a great sleep. like close to 11 hours.
I went out with a few Uni friends to Pacific Fair and did our rounds of shopping.

Got a Ralph Cologne and Deodorant.
Pardon me if the latter is spelt wrongly. Ha ha.
Yeah. It was at a special special rate.

Nobody would have guessed the price rightly I reckon.

Got myself some other stuff that I need (like a compression bandage for my ankle).

Internet at home's been down and my mobility is still not at 100% yet. Hence, I have to wait for the Rankins to bring me to school (They have been phenomenal, really). I kinda miss church after Sunday has ended.

This is my first year since forever that I did not celebrate CNY. Well. With my bed, at least. No extra income this year.

I'm at a place in Uni right now, where I can view the trees and beautiful sceneries. With very few people passing by (It's only 8.40a.m. in the morning). Coming to Uni itself is a holiday. I really do enjoy the sceneries here.

Going to have breakfast soon I reckon....

Anyway. Some thoughts before I end this Post....

Proverbs 16 23-25.
23 From a wise mind comes wise speech;
the words of the wise are persuasive.

24 Kind words are like honey—
sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.

25 There is a path before each person that seems right,
but it ends in death.

When our hearts are right, right words flow.

Results will show when the process is right.

Back to earth

Yesterday was just full on!!!

I had 8 hours of lesson straight. Fortunately, my strategic management's lecture ended 1 hour earlier and I had 1 hour of rest from work. Still, my mind was full on yesterday.

Today's been pretty good. I had a test this morning at 8.00am. Was a little late, but we have all the time in the world to complete our test, so it was ok! Ha ha. I did it in 50mins though. Time really just blew by. I haven't even visited the gym this semester yet. Well, partially due to my injury. Ha ha. I aim to hit the gym next week.

God is amazing. My leg is getting better each day (Though it's still sore). Arigato to everyone who cared! I still miss Sydney though. However, My aim is to travel every part of Australia... Melbourne will be my next destination and hopefully before I leave this beautiful place, I will visit Perth. Nothing is concrete yet. That will be parked under my "wishlist".

Been out of touch with Basketball for just a few days and I realised that Lakers just signed Pau Gasol (How good can this get!!). Lakers have one of the best squads now. PG-D.Fisher SG-K.Bryant SF-Lamar Odom PF-Pau Gasol and C-Andrew Bynum. They are definitely in contention for the title next season. I hope that they will win the Western Conference title this season though (Hopefully they will not meet the Suns in the first round!). Ha ha.

Internet's been down lately and I can't do much work, fortunately, there is still internet access at Uni! I am using Heng's computer now. Ok. He should be studying for exams, but he's still sleeping. His paper is in 55 mins time and he's sleeping. What a sleeper!!!

Looking forward to Ignite and Weekend Services!!!

Sydney

Me Vern Dan

Hi peeps. Sydney is amazing. Ha ha. I have quite a few pictures to show you guys. Today's going to be a long and hectic day for me. Ha ha.

Madness I tell you. 8 hours of lesson straight, starting from 10a.m.-6p.m. (I'm going to be late for my economics tutorial)

Anyway, it has been an awesome weekend over at Sydney. and Oxford falls. It truly has been a dream for me to go to CCC and Hillsong one day. I didn't have the time to visit Hillsong though. I was back on Gold Coast on Saturday night.

But some pictures for you to drool on. I had a great time catching up with Ivan, Daniel and Charleston at Oxford Falls. Also got to know a lot of people from Robina better. It was truly an amazing 3 days for me.

Brook Frazer was leading the song Hosanna on Thursday night. It was just like God was there. We were all completely lost in the presence of God. Josh Kelsey preached afterwards. I'm gonna talk about Josh as he is such a hospitable and encouraging person. On the last day of the conf. I met him like 3 times and 3 times, he never failed to encourage me. "Keep going strong for God" etcetc.

I also met Pastors, Rinnah and Lynette at their apartment on the second night and it's great to see them once again! Ha ha. Just being around all these people for a while makes you feel more inspired to become bigger. I didn't get to see much of Sydney this time round, I will definitely be back for more and definitely, Hillsong. I will be back next year again!

Class is on in 45mins.!
