What a way to end the year

I finally finally GOT MY Drivers' License!

3 failed attempts preceded today. If not for the encouragement of my instructor, I would have given up a few months ago.

Cherish hardwork.. Love and relish it.
I really love the process of it, though I didn't really enjoy it all the time.

How God has brought me through this year has been simply amazing.
He helped me through before I turn 20. what a great God He is.
Heart Awards at Singpost tonight!

It'll be the highlight of my year!
I love you.... All of my hope is in You!

Love

2007... memoirs!

2007 has been truly a year of acceleration for me.

Though I'm not in church physically, but I feel that I really have grown much more than I've ever grown. The problems that I faced are very much different from what most people face.

God has brought me through a lot of circumstances and situation to help me grow, albeit much different from most people. Uncertainties - School and driving are the two perfect example I would say.

I went for driving today and it went awesomely well. Tomorrow's my test and I pray that I will pass and keep calm! Yeah. My fourth try. I kinda can't believe it, but I believe that I will do it and I was calmer than before driving today.

Ha ha. Anyway, it's been more than two weeks since I blogged. lol.

My life back in SG -

God has been truly good. He knows that my passion has been people. I met two friends on my way back from Aussie. I was at Robina train station and I met this Hong Konger whom I played basketball with before. He was also going back home. We took the train together. Another even more amazing thing happened. I met Calvin (0r kelvin?) at the airport and he's taking the same plane as me as he can't get a direct flight back to KK. He was well received by Heart of God Church people!! I think he thoroughly enjoyed our company! He certainly does! Yeah.

I have been working in office for the past 1 and a half week. Though I'm only back for 3 weeks, I certainly miss the people here. I love them till death! I got to know more people in office too. I've got to know Pastors better too. That's been awesome!

Tomorrow's going to be amazing. Going for an overnight session in church tomorrow!

Exams are OVER

I had Business Maths yesterday and it went really well.

I was enjoying studying yesterday before the paper actually. Plugged in my iPod and did Maths. I was in the library, but could not contain my emotions and I just worship (Not that loud for anyone to hear), but the presence of God was with me. Yeah. I finished the Maths paper pretty fast I reckon. I got back home 45 minutes before the paper ended.

It was a pretty good day yeah.

I had mystreet this morning. We went to a street and did lawn mowing and basically helped people to clean their garden. We helped a family to lay some bricks. It was hard and my wheelbarrow actually overturned once. Ha ha. Yeah. That's kind of funny! Lol.

I can actually memorise every route for my driving exams! Lol. Get into the car, adjust the seat etcetc. It's becoming a nightmare. Lol. God, helped me get it done and over with!!!! Heh.

Just finished my shower. I think I'm going to read more of the John Maxwell's Developing the leader's around you book. It's a great book!! Lol. Woke up at 3a.m. this morning and couldn't go back to sleep. Picked up that book and read till about half past 5a.m.? Lol. Kinda mad yeah. Heh.
I got so much out of that book!

No one's online now. Many of my friends have went back home! It's my turn in two days' time. Am looking forward to it.

Last lap!

17th December Monday - 8.15p.m. If you want to know the flight number, ask Xinjie. Ha ha.

My last paper would be in 2 days' time. This sums up my whole of semester 1. Heh.
Yep yep. It's nothing but Business Maths on Friday on a faithful afternoon at 3p.m. at Sport's Hall.

After which, I will be having mystreet (not sure whether I can get a lift for this yet).
Sunday 2 services and bam. I'm off to SG.
Some of my friends over here are heading back to their home country today.
Arh. Miss it! Lol.
But whatever it is. I'm happy to be going back home on a faithful Monday Morning (I will be taking a train at 9++a.m.) Heh.

A lot of books to read I reckon.
A great book I recommend every human alive to read - Developing the leaders around you! By John Maxwell.
I'm just one chapter into it and I felt that I've learnt so much.
Pastors have always give us quotes like "everything rises and falls on leadership", "there is no success without a successor" and etcetc., all these great quotes came from this awesome book. I just can't emphasize much more why we should read this book.

A person is determined by the friends he makes and the books that he reads (or she if you are a female). I remembered this quote from Pastor Lia when she preached it on Sunday Service to the teens (In the early 2003). I remembered that I got a prize for answering this quote. Heh. It pays to answer, and well, four and a half years down the road, this quote has dearly etched in my memory bank.

I rested the whole of yesterday. Watched a few Simpsons' episode and went to Harbourtown with Felix. It was an amazingly long journey from Bond. It took us 1 and a half hours just to get there. We shopped for 2 hours and took another 1 and a half hours to get back to campus. heh. Well, I got to see a lot of nice sceneries though. Ha ha.

I'm still at Felix's hostel and I'm going back real soon. Yesterday was one of the rare days where I got a well deserved rest! Heh. Not really rest, but I did some Christmas shopping. All the Polo Ralph Lauren's apparels are slashed 50% (I saw the saliva!!!) Heh. It's authentic and real btw, not some counterfeit products. I got a polo tee at AU$50. Which is about 65 sing, still about 60 dollars cheaper than those sold in Singapore. I know!

Miss Singapore like crazy.
It's like my wife is over there or something.
lol.
Absence REALLY Makes the heart grows fonder and FONDER!

Craig David's Qi Tian.

My tablet PC is down!!!
At such a time. Heh.
But thank God for great people like Max and Sharon, who let me use their computer.

Shuan Hart preached a good sermon last night and although it wasn't those kind of note-taking sermons, it's as relevant to me. It spoke right into my heart though.

Marketing Exam is coming up in about 6hours and IT is coming up in 9half hours. I woke up pretty early this morning. Well, I had quite a good dream. Had a chat with senior minister and minister mentor in it. Heh. It wasn't a direct conversation, but you will feel it's a good kind of dream?

After today, I'm only left with Business Maths on Friday.
I do enjoy the process of studying.

I'll be going home in 7 days' time!
Ha ha. Two weeks have just passed in the blink of an eye.
I was just chatting with some church mate over here that it'll be three weeks before I leave Aussie. Well, it's now in a week's time.
Though I'm looking forward to home, I will miss some of the things here, of course (But not much).

A brown cat is sitting beside me now; gazing at me intently; monitoring every action that I am making; as if he's going to devour me any moment. That's because I'm sitting on a chair he was sleeping on. Heh.
He seemed very agitated now.

It's Pearly Lim's birthday today.

P.U.S.H

Inspired to take the exams.
First paper of my final exam starts tomorrow. Heh. I'm looking forward to it as it also means that holidays are drawing nearer.

The semester is drawing to a close, yeah? Ha ha. I can't believe that I have actually been in University for 14weeks, 15 weeks if you consider O's week.

Ok. Ciao. It's raining, but I'm feeling extremely hot! Summer, please go away. I still love the winter and even Spring. Ha ha. It's 26deg Celsius now, as hot as Singapore, I think God is preparing me to adapt to the climate back home. Heh, what an awesome God!

It's 5.17A.m. and I'm fully awake.
I am now a morning person instead of a night one. Heh.
I have not slept at 1a.m. for quite some time.

"When the oceans rise and thunders roar, I will soar with You above the storm, Father, You are King over the flood, I will be still and know You're God"

This song will always be remembered as the classic of songs for God.
Be still, be still and know that He's God.

Well. Best birthday till date

I felt so loved.

Yes Yiling! We'll have to talk more. heh.
I watched the Romance of the three kingdom recently and did some pretty intensive research on it. The battle that Liu Bei fought with Sun Quan after Sun Quan had one of Liu Bei's most beloved brother/general/friend, Guan Yu killed was called the battle of Yiling. Heh. Probably that's how you get your name.

I just came back from church and guess what, the whole CCC Robina celebrated my birthday. It's been the most celebrated birthday ever in my whole life. I won't trade riches for all these! Thanks to Sharon and Max once again. They made my 19th birthday so special ((:. The birthday 2 years ago (It seemed pretty recent actually) was not a good day for me. We met with an accident on my birthday 2 years ago.

The presence of God was so evident in church today. The focus this month in church is on worship and the worship in church was fabulous.

Sooo many entries today. To whet all your appetite. Heh.
Thank you every single human out there.
Ich Liebe Dich!

bryamania!!!!!

I love my life... church

What better church to be in other than HoGC?

I love you guys so so much.
Denise gave me a call close to midnight (Aussie time) and she didn't call just once, but thrice! I was already asleep by half past 9 because I had a little wine last night.

There are like heaps of people in the background and they sang a birthday song for me.
I miss them. I can't wait to get back home. However......

Ha ha. I will never exchange my life for another person's! That's for sure.

Had a good morning at church.

Awesome day

It's my sweet 19 today.
I really enjoyed it so so much.

I played 3hours of intensive basketball (Elbow a guy twice. Heh.)
Lol. I successfully grabbed the rim today. I have never jumped so high in my life. The rim at Bond is close to NBA height I reckoned. Lol. The intensive cycling has helped me developed HUGE calf muscles.

Played good ball today. Heh. Not the top scorer, but definitely an awesome defensive player.

I got quite a lot of birthday wishes.. Too many to name I reckon. Lol. I love all of you people. LOVE God, family and all friends! I actually never wanted anyone at Bond to know my birthday. But Tom called my and wished me birthday! What a Sweet guy he is.

Te Amo, I love you, Wo Ai Ni, Yo Alskar Dig, Ghor Ai Lei, Wa Ai li, Saya Cinta Amu, Ich liebe dich. That's all the languages I know. Yeah Mushy it might sound, but that's from the bottom of my heart.

Pastor got me a gift too! It was delivered three days before my actual birthday. Pastors are such loving people! I will bring their gift back! Heh (It's a secret gift)

The Rankin family (The family I'm boarding with) got me a gift too. They also brought me out for a sumptuous dinner at a restaurant.

I'm so blessed. What can I say? Heh.

Oh well, back to my day! When I returned home, I got an offline message from Gabriel. E Zone! You guys are the best. Thanks Gabriel for the wonderful video! Thank you everyone who are in there. Garrett, Wendy, Miaow Guan (You always love the anti-climax part), and everyone!!!

Let's roll it here-

Love....XX
19th birthday.
