C-group?

I'm having cell group on wednesday.

It was so funny.
Ben was telling me that we're going have c-group on Wednesday. I just went what? Cigarette on Wednesday? I double confirmed and he said yeah. Ha ha. I thought he went crazy or something, but in the end, everything was clarified.

The effects of physical starvation can be felt. But effects of spiritual starvation cannot be felt.
The consequences are the same physically and spiritually.
True for spiritual, true for physical!

Cheers.

Special Service

Service was simply awesome today.

Pastor Don talked about prayer in the morning.

As for the evening service, Pastor Pat Ancliff talked about contentment.
How do we define being content - "To be free from cares because of satisfaction that is already yours."
Being content doesn't mean being laid back or what, but it's to have contentment in life.
It is so relevant to me that I began to reflect and think about contentment.

I went up and was prayed for by Pastor Antcliff's wife, Pastor Amanda. She asked me what I want to be prayed for. I didn't really have any request, but I said to her the same thing what King Solomon wanted - Wisdom and increase in understanding in things! That was exactly what she prayed for me and the power of God was on me. I lost balance instantly when she started praying and the usher was supporting me behind so that she could finish praying for me. I tried to stand still, but no matter how I tried, I just couldn't. I felt so power-less. When I went on to the ground. God really spoke to me, in a still small voice.
I will not share in details. But God certainly has brought me to a right place.

There were also Theology students from Oxford falls today visiting us! Actually they have been here since Friday night. I had a chat with a brilliant chap. He's going to do his PhD in Chemical Engineering too at the age of 25-6. Wow. So smart, yet so spiritual. It's just amazing how God is working in people's lives.

Yeah. Live a life of contentment!

Natural?

I didn't follow much of my workplan before 5p.m. (Eastern time) today.
However, I still managed to read through Marketing and Comm Skills' textbook!
I watched two movies today, Clash of the Titans and Troy.
Both are linked to Greek gods, somehow. But the storylines are quite different.
I also picked up some English Skills on Podcast.
The podcast on Itunes are great. We can learn a lot of things through it!
I have not talked to a single human face to face today at all!
A feat not done since quite long ago. Ha ha.
I'm already feeling bored and lonely, but I have God! Ha ha.

Troy is an awesome movie. I have only watched bits and pieces of it previous. I have finally finished the whole movie today. I felt so faith-filled after watching Troy. It is a movie that depicts courage, love and also greed.

Been watching all the old movies. Sessions with God here are as amazing.
They QTs here are really Quiet and I just absolutely enjoy it.

Grismond is heading to Manchester once again. For his third semester. 3/4 OvS student from HoGC are out of Singapore, with the except of Boris.

Contact Lens

I have not wear a single pair of contact lens till today.
My second week in Australia (To be exact).

I'm like a househusband today.
Lol. Vacuumed my room, did my laundry, made my breakfast and washed all the cutlery and plates. Spent quite some time on all of that. But the end result is awesome. I was doing my mini "BM" at home. It's Bryan's maintenance btw. ok. Lame.

I'm going to be home alone for 10 days. Feeling excited yet a little scared. Ha ha. I don't know why, but that's what I feel exactly now. I had a massage yesterday as my back was aching. My school provides such service at a lower fees though.

The weather here is really dry and my face and hands were itching due to my sensitive skin.

School was great today. I have a very young marketing tutor, Vanessa. Extremely young I guess, around 23 yrs old. Wow. She graduated from Bond at 19 yrs old and went touring around the world for two years. In Singapore, most people would have just collected their A'levels results at 19 years old.

I love the style here. But I guess there are many smart people in class too. Hope that each of us can spur on one another toward success. ((:

School!! Day 2!

School's been great!
Riding a bike to school is tiring sometimes. Why was school good? Ha ha. Well, I have a great Marketing lecturer! He is really knowledgeable in his specialty!

Secondly, I had a Maths test and I thought I did well. So, I went to ask the teacher when we can get the score of our test as the criteria for taking business Maths is to obtain 65% or more in our test.

Yeah, so I was afraid of being complacent and so, I tried a Maths paper the day before, which was provided for us online.

Well, the teacher told me that I have obtained full marks. (Wow). He also told me that if he would have done the paper, he would do exactly the way I did it. (Double wow). Not being showy or what, but this is a great encouragement for me to start the school year.

However, it's not how we start, it's how we finish. I need to constantly remind myself of this as I have had great starts to my School Year all the time, then stagnant during the mid terms and picking up during the final term. I really want to be consistent and follow my Study Rule closely. Yeah. Ha ha.

The novelty of riding a bike has long gone, tiredness sets in really easily as there are a lot of hills on my way home from school, and it's taking a toll on my precious calves.

I slept at 9.30p.m. last night and needless to say, woke up earlier this morning at around 4.30a.m.? Even before the cock crows. Lol. Watched Spiderman 1 yesterday and it was quite nice to know how the story began. I wanted to borrow the no.2, but school doesn't have it. Ha ha. So I borrowed a nice movie called a very long engagement. A short movie a day keeps me awake for a day! An excuse for watching movie! There was a period of time last year where I didn't touch a single movie for close to half a year. I am quite hungry now actually. I'm going to have my breakfast soon. Some pictures for you to digest!

Official day of School.

It's my first day of Official lesson.

Was really struggling with flu and cough.
I am going to get some panadol this Wednesday when I get down to Woolsworth to do some groceries.

I had Church yesterday and the two services were different. We get the best of both worlds. Pastor Don preached the morning service while Pastor Adrienne preached the evening service. However, I still need to get the sermon CDs from Heart of God Church! I pray that it'll be fast. ha ha.

Everyone says it was a n awesome thing. ha ha. ok. I will definitely get it.
Gotta get back to work now.

Refreshed!

1 Peter 4:14 "If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified."

Part of 1 Peter 5:5 " God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble."

Why a lone ranger is a dead ranger - 1 Peter 5:8 shows it all. I finally understand the quote, at least more of it!

"Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary (enemy) the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."

And furthermore, a believer's growth may be hindered by three distinct enemies: Devil, world and flesh. The Devil will roam about like a lion and looking for the weak, young, ISOLATED and unguarded animals.

Had some time for bible studies on my own. All these information are from Nelson New King James Version Spirit Filled bible. Yeah. More than just information, they are living and applicable.

Cheers mate. Just a short update. People here are really friendly. Everyone greets everyone. I like it here. Mercyme is a nice Christian band. Check it out. Yeah.

Flyboys.

I watched an awesome movie last night, called Flyboys. You should watch it too.
It's a movie based on a true story in WW1. Yeah. War is cruel. War separates.
Wiki it! Rent the video if possible.
I thought it was boring at first, but I was dead wrong.
It turned out to be good.
Ha ha. It has romance in it too.
That Goblin guy in X-men (James Franco) is the lead actor for this awesome movie.
The real character of James Franco never got to see the girl he met during the war ever again. That's real sad. The French girl told him that she'll meet him in Paris after the war. However, he never got to meet her (Lucienne) ever again after the war ):.

It made me realised how important it is to thank God for his provisions.
For every innovation comes sacrifice!

Today's an off day for me (Sort of)
Lessons commence next week and I'm raring to go.
I change my own bedsheet this morning and did some vacuuming.
Ha ha. I guess I would make a good househusband too. I would be cooking for myself next week as the Rankins have to attend a wedding up North of Queensland. Well, home alone, but not really alone. Time to love God all over again!

Josh, Pastor Don and Adrienne are back from National Conference!
Yeah. Looking forward to see them on Sunday.

Pls keep the SMS coming.
I will reply you guys asap.
Due to the time difference, it's hard for me to chat sometimes with you guys. But I love you nonetheless. Made some friends yesterday and one of them live in the hostel. Should be visiting him quite often as he has 3 similar lectures as I do! Wow!

Webcaming with friends' fun! Especially when you know how they're like at home? Yeah

Day 3! of Bond Uni.

Hey guys...

I guess as the days go by, I'll post less entry... Probably to make you guys salivate. Erm.. Right now, I'm giving lobsters and prawns to you guys for free. Probably should starve you guys about what's happening here.

Well, I woke up at 7.20a.m. (Eastern time) this morning and had a great breakfast. Yeah. The Rankins made breakfast for me and it was delicious. Yeah. Luckily I didn't have to stay in the campus.

Off to school on my coveted bike again. It was freezing cold. Even with a Gap Jumper and a Bond University T-Shirt underneath it, I was freezing! Yeah. the first part was good and I remembered in Slamdunk where Kaede Rukawa dozed off while riding a bike, I could too, I guess. I was so tired that I just had to tell myself "just a little bit more". Like what Pastor Lia would always say. Ha ha. I guess my muscles are really developing. My calves are aching from cycling too much daily. Even on first gear, I experience muscle aches. Maybe when I return to cycle with you guys at East Coast, I could do so without any aching problem! That's just to sidetrack.

School was awesome.. God put people to fill my day.. Germans are really fun people. I met two Germans today! i met one and we instantly clicked. I knew more about his culture and the way they do things. After he went home I was left alone. While going for a lecture about writing Resume, I met another German and well, we clicked. This guy is pursuing his Masters in IT (MIT) ha ha. Nice chap over here. Learnt a fair bit about writing resume and I guess it was a productive day.

After the lecture, I went home on my bike. It was drizzling this time round, but I know I couldn't wait any longer as it gets dark really fast. So I just had to bear the rain. I was praying to God that I wouldn't catch a cold and stuff. Ha ha. And now, I'm in my room typing all this. But it was really freezing! At the same time, I was really tired, I just wanted to sleep while riding and I closed my eyes on all the straight path. Ha ha. But I survived through all of them. I know when not to paddle and when to paddle.

Some pictures to whet your appetite.

You can see how strong the wind is!

A nice shot of the "Arch"

"PRINCETON!" The school was modelled after the Ivy League one!

At the top of the hill (Nice scenery ar!)

Random, But nice I guess.

Yeah.. You guys should come with me too!
Ha ha. Loving it here. But hey...
If HoGC was here, it would have been much better.

Admin stuff

Yeah. Did some admin stuff today at School.
Got my student ID, yeah look pretty cool and it's a very powerful ID. Ha ha.
Aussie is in the middle of a drought.
But it rained today - The weather forecast is accurate!! Wow.

I shall show you guys some nice photos I took while on my way home!
Ha ha. Am feeling tired now..
Should I do some laundry? or not. Ha ha. Not sure.

Taking a break at a lake. It's an offence not to wear helmet when riding a bike (Nice one!)

My bike with the lake! (The white plastic bag contains my cheese n bacon pie and it tasted awesome!)

Ha ha.
Chatted with FX when I reached home.
Talked to Eli too. She seemed to be in a rush, hence I didn't rush her, LOL!
Feeling a little tired after cycling. I think my muscles are developing. I might just slam dunk when I return the next time. ha ha.
Exercising daily is great! Ha ha. Yeah.

Miss you guys, and I miss going to school too.
Gotta do what I'm supposed to do.
I received a few emails today and it's refreshing to read some great emails from the people.

I had Dinner with the Rankins' family last night and we talked about God and church.
They are a God fearing family. God is so great to place me in such a wonderful family.
Everything they do is out from their hearts. I can see it!
Sincere and everything.
Yeah. I have their photos on one of my previous post.
They treated me like one of their own and I'm extremely grateful for that.
Sharon's pizza is really nice. Capsicun, olives, ham, cheese, tomatoes and some tomato paste. That did magic and it tasted fabulous.

Should spend my day knowing God more, and also gaining more invaluable knowledge.
E Zone will grow! I believe so.
