Revelation

Hi peeps.I just came across this passage and I thought it would help people lead a fruitful and awesome life.

Life is short. You might not be bible believing or even a Christian. But I believed the extract below is relevant.

Psalm 90:1-17

Time is short, use it well, STEWARDSHIP of time.

Ps90 centers on the brevity of life and the stewardship of time. In meditating upon human frailty, Moses compares life to grass that withers. God Himself, on the other hand, is “from everlasting to everlasting” (v.2). Because of man’s sin (vv7-9), God has shortened his time at least twice. The early days of man averaged hundreds of years, Seth, for eg, lived 912 years (Gen 5:8); Cainan, 910 years (v14), and Methuselah, 969 years (v.27). After the Flood, however, God shortened man’s time to 120 years (6:3). When we reach the time represented in Ps. 90, man’s years have been cut to 70-80 years. The final word recorded in James 4:13-16 is that man’s life is a vapour, with no guarantee as to the number of his years. Therefore, it is critical that people allow God to teach them to manage well the brief time they have on Earth (Ps. 90:12).

All in all, life is short. Make every second counts.
Live a life more than the cars, money and the TVs. And all these are good. It's vital to be culturally relevant. But. Let every second of your life count.

Well. This passage has inspired me greatly. To live a life that matters. You can make a difference too.

Heh.
