A's in 40 days and counting

Dost Thou Love Life? Then do not squander time, for that's the stuff life is made of. - Benjamin Franklin

This may be my second last post until A'levels end.

So what is love, I read a few books and came up with this definition - Love thrives in the face of all life's hazard, save one-neglect.

It's for all of you to find out the meaning of this statement. Yup.

How Saint Patrick's Day came about?
I will abbreviate this story, but be inspired!

Young Patrick had grown up in a Christian home on the west coast of Great Britain. His parents were believers and had done their best their son up in the same spirit. Of course, he did not, he went astray, partying with friends and wasn't an upright man.

One Night, some Irish slave dealers came into his village when his parents were away. What a divine time? These slave dealers chained those of a suitable age and bring them to the boats anchored nearby and shipped them to Ireland to be sold as slaves and killed those who are either too young or too old. Patrick was only 16 then. He reached Ireland and was sold to a farmer as a slave. He was a sheep tender and had to take care of sheep. He thought that he was going to be a slave forever.

Then, he remembered while he was young, he used to get up and pray before dawn. In rain, frost and snow. His relationship with God was strengthened as he prayed daily to the Lord. One day, God spoke to him about a boat to return to his homeland England. God gave him a vision about a boat returning to Britain. He woke up. When the time was right, he travelled about 200 miles by foot to the harbour and true to it, there was a boat to Britain! The ship was actually about to sail and he boarded it. He reached Britain. Then the first night while he was on his parents home, God gave him a dream to return to Ireland, the place where he was sold as slave. In his dream, the people there needed him!

He did not hesistate and went back, he did not went back as a slave this time, but an ambassodor for God. He set tons of people free from physical and spiritual slavery. - The rest is history

He is a great role model, getting out of his comfortzone and just remembering one things - "others". Only others matter to him, nothing else matters more. Hence, he did not have a tug of war with God when God called him. He could have stayed in England and not heed God's word, which would be natural as he would have led an easier and "smooth sailing" life, but he did not. Many people have queries and doubts about God, they try to understand God. The reality is that if God can be understood from inside out, then we should be God instead, isn't this the case? We can know God, but can't really comprehend everything he does, that's for sure! Yeap. We will know him when we believe. And that's the case for Patrick. He knew that God will deliver him. Knew the end result, He has his starting line and ending point drawn, and applying basic Maths of shortest distance, he drew a straight line. The inevitable crooked lines will represent those problems he'd face. He had to challenge druids. In his life, he planted churches and set captives free in his entire life in Ireland.

So on March 17, Many countries commemorates St. Patricks day. Marth 17th was the day he passed away. On top of that, Ireland made St. Patrick's day their National Day, what great honour to a man!

That's all. Hope this is great Haha.

Prelims over, beginning of another new ERA

We will only be in this phase of our lives once. Do it once and do it well.
Being too comfortable just isn't me. I love to put myself in an uncomfortable place where there is challenge.
I have gotten over Man Utd's loss. I used to watch Man Utd win as common as we need water. Man Utd's current style of play is horrible. They may not even win the Scottish league if they continue to play like that.

Prelims Over, Post-Prelim and Pre-A'level days are the most exciting 40days we can have. In the 41st day! There would be a sign of relief? (Not in this case ba!)
So many things I want to pick up- Cooking and Driving are the top priorities.
First time played Dota today, maybe the last time too. I doesn't really interest me. Haha, you can say I'm a noob (Yeah, I am), but it really doesn't matter! Haha, the virtual world is never as exciting as the real world I guess. Maybe we should be virtual people?

Crapping now. Look at the time and you shall know why. I'm HIGHHHHHH..

Winning Run ended

If I were the editor of the Newspaper, my front page would be "Fergie in Trouble" or "United Fans blast Ferguson for his tactics" Poor tactics, with a combined of loss of form in World Class superstar striker Wayne Rooney, results in United loss against Arsenal!!

The United Keeper Tomasz Kuszczak had a great evening, he was not to be blamed for the goal! The Rolls Royce Defender should be! Man Utd should just trade Ferdinand for Steve Bruce la, I think the Birmingham manager could do a better job.

..... to be continued

Milestone 150

150th post and going...

I had a great day in church yesterday. Today shall be a day of Physics-ing.
There is Physics paper 1 and 2 tomorrow and I cannot wait to collect my pair of spectacles which has already passed the due date of collection for two weeks!

I just heard the CDs on Apologetics! It's not about the art of saying sorry. Anyway, many Scientific theory has proven that Humans cannot be evolved. According to Charles Darwin Theory, Giraffe is formed because Horses tried to stretch their neck so that they can reach for the food which are "Higher". What a laughable theory. Though it was nonsensical, many people still bought his book, because it was "New", I guess?

I just cannot wait for A'levels to end. Many things are coming up. However, the process of going through my A'levels year is one which is challenging. No Challenge - No Fun. Haha.
Hopefully, Man Utd will thrash Arsenal tonight and say - "No fun". That would be cool, ain't it?

The last 10 days

Some pictures for those people who do not have them! Haha, these photographs only come in one, do keep it well. Glenn was missing though!
Johan (Pronounced as Yo-han), a Swedish once put posters in his school: "I'm a Christian, ask me Why!"
He drew many many responses and later, led many to people into their destiny. He is truly an apostle for Him. What he does is very inspiring! We can have our version one's too. Haha. Our God is alive!

Upcoming Papers
Next Monday - Physics P1 and P2
Next Thursday - Econs P1 and P2
Haha, then all shall be over, the mini-armageddon. After which, 40days to A'levels. Doing fine (Hopefully, I will get my desired results)

Life is enriching and fun.
When I read about Issac Newton's life, I thought he had a great life, although he had a few foes in his lifetime. He was not just a master in Mathematics and Physics, but he also pursue the art of turning thing into gold, chemistry and lastly, he was a Protestant and he studied the bible deeply.
It's raining now. I do not think I am going to the library because of this rain. Haha. Going to upload a lot of songs and organise my computer. Haha.

I am going to find out MORE about Physics. It is just so fun. Haha. A surge of interest suddenly.
Super Sunday - Man Utd vs Arsenal, Chelsea vs Liverpool

Prelims and Updates

Half the battle fought. GP and Maths C are over.
I want an A for Maths, like everyone out there!
Maths Paper 1 was ok, Paper 2 was about the same too. Maybe slightly tougher.

I want to read many many books and be knowledgable, in a rampant mood to increase my knowledge. I have not been sleeping well and the temperature in my body shot up to 100 Fahrenheit. (Should be la). However, my fever had subsided and I feel much better now.

Prelims is a morale booster for people to O'levels.

US Open! Maria Sharapova won the Ladies' Title. Roger, as usual, won the Men's Title.
Nothing much to blog about recently other than staying in my room to study and study! Haha. Yeah. I want As!

Fragile Life (But no worries)

Let's be silent for a minute, and mourn for the renowned Crocodile hunter, Steve Irwin, who died today after being stung by a stingray while diving.
Life is fragile. Yes IT IS! But, no worries, because I believe that God will provide us with alternatives(:

I went to Comex at Expo Yesterday with Grismond and his Brother. I got myself a Digital Camera which I wanted long time ago. It's a good bargain, but I'm not stating the price here though (:.
I also bought another thing (Secret)
Haha.

The weekend services with Pastor Joakim Lundqvist were the best we ever had. He can revive a dead, literally, with his life-changing sermon. He enlarged my mind, literally. However, Pst How and Pst Lia are still the best (:

This is what William Gallas said - Shocking, but would be good if he is still at Chelsea.
Gallas own goal threat
Chelsea claim unhappy French defender William Gallas sensationally threatened to score an own goal and refused to play for the club before he was sold to Arsenal as part of the deal which took Ashley Cole to Stamford Bridge.

My entries these days have been rather short, as I do not want to spend unnecessary time here. Haha, anyway - Xiu Xi Shi Gei Ni Zou Gen Chang De Lu Tu.
I agree, but not totally though. Haha. Ms Sense.
Below are some pictures I took before I end my stint with SRJC! Haha. What nice pictures they are! Haha. lovely. Time to study...
Never be LUKEWARM with things. Go all the way! Or do not do it at all. Love it!

That's All Folks..

Special Service

PST Joakim Lundqvist flew all the way from Sweden, inspired me and the congregation.
Thoroughly impacted. Their ideas enthralled me. It shows that they really love and have a heart for OTHERS! On top of not causing pain to OTHERS!, I also want to impact others!

OTHERS!, it was the vision for 2005, but it should be engraved in our hearts forever, it doesn't mean that once 2005 is over, OTHERS! will become a part of history.

Had a great day.....

Teachers' Day

Study la. Haha.
Was angry that the D'Addario ESP pack only had 5 strings and the first string was missing. The people at Davis are not of much help and are not willing to help. Ok, I mailed D'Addario. I pray for a miracle that they will mail me the String. If not, it's ok. I will still buy ESP strings, it's de best!

SMSed whatever teachers that were in my contacts "Happy Teachers' Day" Haha, thanks once again to all the teachers. Thanks People like Joseph for Helping me in my Physics too. Haha, I will want to do well for Physics as it is a scorable subject.

Time is pressing me hard and it's suffocating me. I love this life, as it is a challenge daily to make full use of our 24hours! We all can be great planners, but firstly, plan our lives first. Love CG session Yesterday. The birthday boy bit my hand! Quite crazy right. Lol. First time kena bite by people. Lol. I read a book on Aeronautics and it was great to see how different jobs in the airline industry affect one's private life.

Man Utd did not buy any players!! Worrried. Haha. However, SAF (Sir Alex Ferguson) has the ability to bring Man Utd to the place they're supposed to be (Premiership Champion).

Love Ya!!
