10 generations of people, from Adam to Noah! (The meaning of each name translated from Hebrew)

Adam - Man
Seth - Appointed
Enosh - Mortal
Kenan - Sorrow

Mahalalel - The blessed God
Jared - Shall come down
Enoch - Teaching

Methusalah - His death shall bring
Lamach - The desparing
Noah - Comfort and rest

"Man appointed mortal sorrow. The blessed God shall come down teaching. His death shall bring the desparing comfort and rest." Hope this will dwell in your hearts.

40 days and nights of rain and flooding after Noah! - Rest (Who can say all these are coincidental?)
